After the last construction workers left the new building on Prokopa Velikého Street in Ostrava Vítkovice, trucks and lorries carrying machines, tools and other specialised equipment for the TEMEX Research and Development Centre began arriving at the architecturally successful building. This large-scale project was made possible thanks to the support of the European Regional Development Fund, OP Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness. The main objective of the project is to develop and test new technologies for their application in industrial automation.

"We have been developing and innovating for many years, but not to the extent that is now required by current trends. For the further development of the company, it is increasingly important to have our own specialized center that will deal with development and innovation systematically and consistently. The aim of our project is to create a VICP 4.0 development and innovation centre that will prepare our products for the industrial revolution - Industry 4.0. To achieve this important goal, however, we need to improve and expand our existing research and innovation activities, which are the cornerstones for introducing Industry 4.0 into the production process," said Strategy Director Ing. Roman Vybíral.
